river deer, a.k.a. river von waldron, is a philly based singer-songwriter you’ll often find camouflaging amongst the trees during autumn. decked out in green, this vocalist and multi-instrumentalist has a passion for creating rich worlds and all-encompassing storylines through haunting lyricism and precise sounds. he loves creating musical spaces to get completely lost in. they’ve been writing music since they were 8 years old– only, they do it a tad more seriously now.
they hold a bfa from the university of the arts. in addition to writing and performing music, you can often find him drawing, painting, reading, designing album artwork, writing plays and musicals, acting, or teaching others to do the same.
